Model Mind AI is creating a new role for a new Sales Executive. This role is a high-impact role for a dynamic and innovative company. The ideal candidate is a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of acquiring new business. As a Sales Executive, you will identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within Minneapolis. You will be the primary point of contact for potential clients, developing strong relationships and effectively communicating the value proposition of our cutting-edge AI training solutions. This hybrid role allows for flexibility between remote and in-office work. While there will be limited direct support, you will have access to leadership guidance and team collaboration as needed. Model Mind AI seeks an energetic B-to-B Sales Executive professional with a proven ability to uncover opportunities and generate new business. This role involves managing and following a consistent sales process to prioritize opportunities, qualify potential clients, understand client needs, build strong relationships, present solutions, and close deals.

This Sales Executive position offers the opportunity to drive revenue growth by proactively targeting and building strategic relationships with new clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and Networking: Identify, qualify, and engage with potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, email, and industry events.

  • Sales Process: Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to closing deals, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.

  • Client Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their needs and tailoring solutions accordingly.

  • Solution Selling: Effectively articulate the value proposition of Model Mind AI's AI training solutions, addressing client pain points and showcasing how our offerings can drive business growth.

  • Pipeline Management: Manage a robust sales pipeline, tracking opportunities and forecasting accurately.

  • Sales Reporting: Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline progress, and performance metrics.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 3-5 years of sales experience

  • Demonstrated success in meeting sales goals and growing sales

  • Sales Skills: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and a proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

    • Product and service knowledge – develops a strong understanding of products and services, what they do, how they impact our customers, and how they can solve customer needs.

    • Relationship Building and Networking: Possesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Can effectively identify and engage with potential partners and clients, leveraging these relationships to generate new business opportunities. Demonstrates excellent networking skills and the ability to build trust and credibility.

    • Customer Discovery and Needs Assessment: Possesses the ability to effectively question and engage with clients to uncover their underlying needs. Can quickly assess a client's situation and identify opportunities. Demonstrates strong listening skills and the ability to ask insightful questions to drive the sales process forward.

    • Gaining Commitment—Gaining commitment to a specific next step is the spark needed to keep the sales process moving forward.

  • Active Listening: Demonstrates strong listening skills, actively seeking to understand the client's perspective and needs.
